Is the HD file the same image as my preview?
Yes. Unlock removes the watermark from the portrait you already saw. We do not regenerate a different image after you pay.
How much does it cost?
An unframed 8×10″ portrait or 10×8″ landscape print is $36.99 (includes HD). A ready-to-hang 12×16″ portrait frame is $79 in the US and Canada. A digital-only unlock is $3.99; a pack of 5 is $12.99. No subscription.
Can I get a print shipped — or print it myself?

How long until the print actually arrives?
Payment starts artwork review, not printing. We assess the portrait and any consolidated change request first, then tell you the expected review or revision timing. Only the exact version you approve is sent after final review. From that submission, delivery is typically 5–8 business days in the US and 7–10 in Canada; these are estimates, not guaranteed dates. Tracking arrives by email when it ships, and the HD file is included.

Do you keep my pet’s photo?
We store your upload and the generated result so you can finish checkout and download your file. We do not use your photo to train any AI model, and we do not sell photos to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for retention details. Email us anytime to delete your uploads and generated assets.
Why is the free preview watermarked?
Generating each image costs us real money in AI compute. The watermark lets you judge the result before paying, while keeping the free tier sustainable.
Will I be charged customs or import tax?
Prints are made and posted in the United States, so inside the US there is nothing extra to pay. Shipping to Canada — or ordering the unframed 8×10 anywhere else — means the parcel crosses a border, and your own customs authority may charge import duty or tax on delivery, collected by the carrier. That charge is set by your country, is not included in our price, and we cannot estimate or pay it for you. Digital downloads never cross a border, so they are never affected.
Can you do rabbits, birds, horses — anything that is not a cat or a dog?
Yes. Cats and dogs are most of what we make, but nothing in the process is species-specific. Rabbits, parrots, hamsters, guinea pigs, horses, reptiles, fish — if you have a photo where the face reads clearly, it is worth trying. The preview is free, so you find out in under a minute instead of guessing.
Can I send the print straight to someone else — and can it arrive on a specific day?
Straight to them, yes: checkout collects the delivery address separately from your payment details, so the parcel goes to their door while the receipt comes to your inbox. A specific day we cannot promise — each print is made to order and then handed to a carrier. If you are up against a birthday, unlock the HD file and send the Gift Reveal link, which arrives the moment you send it, and let the print follow a few days later.
Can I use the result commercially (e.g. on merch I sell)?
HD unlocks include a personal-use license — printing for yourself, gifting, and sharing on social media are all fine. If you want to sell products featuring the portrait, contact us for a commercial license.
What if the portrait doesn’t look like my pet?
AI art has natural variation. If markings or face shape are clearly wrong, email us within 48 hours — see Refund & Dispute Policy . If it doesn’t look like your companion, contact us within 48 hours — we’ll remake it free or refund.
What if the result doesn’t look right, or generation fails?
If a paid generation fails or the file is corrupted, we will re-generate it or refund you — see our Refund & Dispute Policy. If it doesn’t look like your companion (not just a style preference), contact us within 48 hours — we’ll remake it free or refund. Ordinary artistic variation isn’t a remake reason.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
