Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
PetMona uses essential browser storage needed to make the site function. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to measure anonymous product usage and Meta Pixel to measure and improve our ads. Both stay off until you select “Accept analytics.”
What we store in your browser
- Free-preview device cookie — an essential, signed first-party cookie used with a hashed browser/device fingerprint to limit each device to three free previews in total. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Analytics consent preference — remembered in localStorage (not a cookie) so we don’t show the notice again after you choose.
- Google Analytics — after consent, Google may use first-party identifiers to distinguish visits and report aggregate usage. We disable Google Signals and advertising personalization, and we do not send emails, images, file names or portrait request ids.
- Checkout session cookies — set by Stripe during checkout, needed to complete your purchase securely. These are controlled by Stripe — see Stripe’s own cookie/privacy policies for details.
- Meta Pixel — after consent, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) receives ad-related events (such as page views and purchases) and a hashed, not plaintext, version of your email for Advanced Matching, so we can measure and improve our ads and show you relevant retargeting ads. We do not send images, file names or portrait request ids to Meta.
What we don’t do
- We don’t share your uploaded photos, generated images, file names or portrait request ids with Google or Meta.
- We don’t use any advertising trackers beyond the Google Analytics and Meta Pixel tags described above, and both stay off until you consent.
- We don’t sell cookie or browsing data to anyone.
Managing cookies and storage
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear site data in their settings. Blocking checkout cookies may prevent payment from completing correctly. Clearing site data will also reset the cookie notice preference. Clearing the device cookie does not reset the one-time free-preview allowance because the anti-abuse check also uses a hashed device fingerprint.
