What Is Creature Ball? Pet Photos Become Collectible Cards
Snap your pet, confirm it’s a real animal, spend one Creature Point, and mint a card that joins the public PetMona dex.
Creature Ball is PetMona’s optional collectible layer: you photograph a real pet, the system checks that it’s an animal, and one Creature Point mints a public card with rarity, element, stats, and your creator name. It does not replace wall portraits — HD credits and shipped prints stay on the main Create flow.
How a mint works
- Open Catch (/ball), enter email + a 6-digit PIN (set on first mint or points purchase)
- Capture or upload a clear pet photo, then run Check pet
- Confirm and mint — one successful card spends one Creature Point
- Your card lands in the public Dex and on your Mine shelf
Points are not portrait credits
Creature Points only pay for card mints. Portrait previews, HD unlocks, and 8×10" prints still use the usual PetMona credits. That isolation keeps collectible play from draining your wall-art balance.
