What Is a Pet Tarot Reading? Meet Your Pet’s Inner World
A stable tarot-style card, a playful archetype, and a shareable type tag linked to one finished pet preview. Pure entertainment, never a diagnosis or prediction.
A PetMona pet tarot reading is an entertainment add-on: a stable tarot-style card chosen from your preview job ID plus one of eight playful archetypes, shown as a free shareable type tag. It is not a scientific, behavioural, veterinary or predictive assessment. For all 22 Major Arcana cards starring your pet, see the Pet Tarot Deck at petmona.app/tarot.
PetMona’s pet tarot reading is a playful add-on to the photo-to-portrait flow. Once a pet preview finishes, the page creates a stable tarot-style draw and a personality archetype, then combines them into a shareable teaser. It is entertainment only — not a scientific, behavioral, veterinary, or predictive assessment of your pet.
Two things get combined
A reading has two separate parts. The tarot-style card is selected deterministically from the preview job ID, so reopening the same reading shows the same card; it is not inferred from the photo. For the archetype, PetMona makes a best-effort AI observation of visible cues in the uploaded photo, such as apparent expression and energy, and maps that limited observation to one of eight prewritten entertainment archetypes. If photo analysis is unavailable or fails, a stable job-based fallback archetype is used instead.
What’s free
- Your pet’s tarot card name and pet-reframed subtitle — for example, The Hermit, reframed as The Quiet Watcher
- A shareable type tag combining the card and the archetype, like The Quiet Watcher · Old Soul
- A one-line teaser hinting at the full reading
That teaser shows up as soon as your free preview is ready — you don’t need to unlock anything first — and it comes with a link you can share, so a friend can see your pet’s card without unlocking anything themselves.
Unlocking the full reading
After the pet’s HD portrait is unlocked, the full reading can be purchased as a separate add-on. It reveals a longer card meaning plus prewritten archetype sections about temperament, affection, and a fun fact. These are entertainment copy selected from the stored card and archetype, not a custom veterinary or behavioral report. Once unlocked, the public reading link shows the full version to anyone who has the link.
Try it from a free preview — the card and type tag show up automatically once your pet’s first preview is ready, no signup or purchase required to see them.
