PK Challenges: How Creature Ball Battles Work
Compare four stats, see who wins, share the result — PK challenges give Creature Ball cards something to do after they’re minted.
Every Creature Ball card already carries four stats — HP, ATK, DEF, and SPD — set the moment it’s minted. PK challenges are what those stats are for: an async battle mechanic that compares two cards stat by stat and settles a winner in an instant, no waiting, no app to install.
How a challenge works
- Open your card and start a PK challenge — it generates a shareable link
- Whoever opens the link accepts with one of their own cards
- All four stats compare at once; whichever card wins more of them wins the battle (a tie is a draw)
- The result posts to the public /vs battle feed and stays linkable
Free to challenge and accept
Starting or accepting a PK battle costs nothing. You can use a card already stored on your browser, or create your browser’s one free card while accepting if that allowance is still unused. Paid extra cards and a points economy are not part of the current experiment.
Why the stats are fixed
A card’s stats are generated once, deterministically, from the card itself when it’s minted — they don’t change over time and can’t be bought or boosted. That’s what makes a PK challenge a fair, one-time snapshot rather than something that rewards spending more.
Start from any card you’ve already minted — open it, challenge someone, and see the result land on the public battle feed.
